The Crane Institute releases a metric handbook

The Crane Institute has finally released ‘Rigging Metric’, a metric version of its US handbook, ‘Rigging’, by James Headley.

This handbook includes the latest about rigging hardware, slings and wire rope, also tables and charts. It calculates sling loading, load weight and also provides load handling techniques. It is considered a safety handbook for supervisors, riggers and other personnel who use rigging in their daily jobs to help accomplish their work.
